Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Synthesis Chemist to join Laborchemie Apolda GmbH (LCA), a company specializing in organic chemical syntheses for high-purity fine chemicals used in display technology (OLED) and pharmaceutical active ingredients. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical and organizational planning and execution of synthesis projects and development orders. Key daily tasks include developing new synthesis routes, optimizing existing ones, conducting detailed laboratory experiments (reaction tests, use-tests), and performing rigorous documentation and reporting of results. A crucial part of the role involves process validation, scaling up production, and contributing to quality management processes (AM, CC, CAPA, complaints). The ideal candidate holds a degree in Chemistry, preferably a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, and brings professional experience in organic synthesis chemistry within the chemical industry.
