Job Summary
This critical role involves ensuring safety and compliance during revision and maintenance activities within technical facilities. The officer will be responsible for planning and executing preparatory and follow-up meetings for revisions and inspections, coordinating communication between shift workers and the technical department, and preparing plant components for mandatory inspections (e.g., TÜV). A key focus is on safety, including the independent coordination of Safety and Health Protection (SiGeKo) according to construction site regulations, managing external contractors, and ensuring adherence to all occupational safety, fire protection, and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate possesses a technical background, specific SiGeKo certification, and deep knowledge of relevant German safety laws and ordinances, ensuring a safe and compliant operational environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed minimum 3-year technical vocational training (e.g., Industrial Mechanic, Electrician, Process Engineering) or comparable qualification, Additional qualification as Safety and Health Protection Coordinator (SiGeKo) according to the Construction Site Ordinance
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in maintenance
- Deep knowledge of occupational and health protection, and relevant laws and regulations (e.g., ArbSchG, DGUV rules, BetrSichV, BaustellV)
- Ability for professional instruction and coordination of employees and external companies
