Job Summary

This role is for a (Junior) System/Application Engineer focused on process control and industrial software, driving the development and maintenance of a proprietary process control system (METRICS®) used for aluminum electrolysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and advancing the company’s process control system based on MATLAB Simulink, integrating these modules into PLC programs, and working closely with production teams at the interface between software and plant control systems. Day-to-day tasks include 1st and 2nd-level support, troubleshooting production systems, and contributing to projects across various sites (requiring about 10% travel). Ideal candidates possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field, coupled with experience in MATLAB Simulink, a basic understanding of PLC systems, and familiarity with data analysis and version control.
