Job Summary

This role involves joining the Process Technologies Cluster to develop and optimize safe, reliable, and sustainable technical solutions for Bayer globally. The Expert Solids Processing will focus on the development and optimization of comminution (crushing/grinding), drying, and general solids handling processes crucial for manufacturing active ingredients, formulations, and seed products across Crop Science and Pharmaceuticals. Day-to-day tasks include planning and supervising laboratory experiments, supporting scale-up and technology transfer to pilot and production scales, and characterizing particles and solid mixtures. The ideal candidate holds an advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Chemical Engineering or a related field, coupled with initial professional experience or relevant academic work in solids process development.
