Job Summary
This role involves meticulously organizing and managing manufacturing processes aboard vessels, ensuring all necessary conditions are met for production trades and partner firms within the electrical systems sector. The Manufacturing Engineer will act as the responsible electrical expert for repair projects, developing schedules, and coordinating site safety measures. Key responsibilities include evaluating and documenting manufacturing progress, creating production concepts for tenders and contracts, and leading acceptance inspections with clients and classification societies. A crucial part of the job is coordinating and implementing contractually specified scopes of work, monitoring deadlines, quality, and budgets for internal trades and external partners. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering and several years of practical experience with shipboard electrical systems, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international team environment. Occasional international business travel is required.
