Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for an IT Technician to join a leading technology service provider in Munich, specializing in Device as a Service for major industrial clients across Germany. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for onsite IT support, managing the service point on the customer's campus. Key daily tasks include managing inventory for the service point, provisioning and deploying loaner notebooks according to specifications, coordinating mobile device rollouts via phone support, and distributing small IT peripherals like headphones and conference phones (Skype for Business). The ideal candidate should have a completed vocational training in the IT field, such as an IT Specialist for System Integration, possess knowledge of mobile device hardware (iPhones, iPads) and PCs/notebooks, and hold a Class B driver's license. This position offers a long-term perspective, flexible working hours, and the possibility of specialization within different service areas, initially starting as a temporary contract with the option for permanent employment.

Required Skills

Education

Vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or equivalent qualification (desirable)

Experience

  • Completed vocational training in the IT environment (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or similar qualification is desirable
  • Professional experience supporting mobile and desktop hardware
