Job Summary

This role is for an Automation Engineer who will be responsible for the full lifecycle of production and manufacturing plants, from design and planning to commissioning and customer acceptance. Key responsibilities include integrating PLCs and visualizing processes, programming software using IEC 61131, testing software with simulation tools, and connecting systems to databases. The ideal candidate will have a degree in automation or electrical engineering, or a related technical qualification, coupled with several years of professional experience in automation technology. Strong proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) like Simatic S7 and Allen Bradley, as well as common automation bus systems (Profibus, Interbus, DeviceNet), is essential. Experience with visualization software such as WinCC and ECAD systems like EPLAN is also highly valued.
