Job Summary
This critical role serves as the central functional interface between Group Finance, VIG IT, and local finance departments across the group. The consultant will play a leading role in the comprehensive, group-wide S/4HANA financial system transformation, ensuring standardized, compliance-compliant, and future-oriented financial processes. Daily tasks include supporting VIG subsidiaries (domestic and international) with the implementation, development, and operation of group-wide SAP systems, specifically focusing on modules like NewGL, BW, FPSL, and SEM-BCS, and integrating newly acquired entities. The position requires coordinating, structuring, and documenting finance-related change requests from initial requirement gathering through testing and final acceptance, while ensuring adherence to IFRS and Group Finance guidelines. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree or training in Business Informatics, Finance & Accounting, Economics, or a comparable qualification
Experience
- Relevant professional experience in an interface function between the business department and IT
- In-depth knowledge and experience working with SAP systems, ideally S/4HANA
- Experience in supporting quarterly Group Reporting processes
- Experience in coordinating and structuring finance-related change requests
