Job Summary

This role is for an Electrical Engineer specializing in renewable energy and power plant projects, focusing on the technical leadership and execution of projects utilizing INNIO Jenbacher gas engines and third-party components. Key responsibilities include project estimation, planning, execution, and commissioning. You will be responsible for creating detailed technical specifications, system layouts, and functional calculations for critical electrical equipment, including low/medium voltage systems and power transformers. Day-to-day tasks involve detailed engineering work such as circuit diagram creation, PLC programming, and supporting sales and purchasing teams with technical expertise and supplier negotiations. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification combined with significant professional experience in the energy or EPC plant construction sector. This position requires strong technical knowledge of power plant components and bus communication systems, offering the chance to work on diverse renewable energy projects in an innovative, international setting.

Completed university degree in Energy or Electrical Engineering OR Higher Technical Education Institute (HTL) qualification

Experience

  • Completed university degree in Energy/Electrical Engineering OR HTL qualification with relevant professional experience
  • More than 5 years of relevant professional experience in the energy or plant construction (EPC) sector
  • Professional experience with electrical power plant components (transformers, switchgear, power cables, grounding resistors)
  • Experience with High and Extra-High Voltage Systems and Bus Communication Systems
