This role involves ensuring the safety and compliance of electrical systems in industrial and public facilities, contributing to a company dedicated to technical safety and sustainability since 1866. The Engineer will primarily focus on assessing and testing various electrical installations, including fire alarm and voice alarm systems, emergency lighting, safety power supply, and fixed electrical systems, ensuring their effectiveness and operational safety according to building regulations. Key responsibilities include creating expert reports, conducting damage investigations, and performing construction-accompanying inspections for electrical engineering projects. Candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering and professional experience in the planning, installation, maintenance, or operation of electrical systems. Full fluency in German is mandatory, and a structured, reliable working style is essential. The position offers a comprehensive training program for candidates lacking formal building code accreditation.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field. Completed vocational training, e.g., as an Electrician/Electrical Technician, is advantageous.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the planning, installation, maintenance, or operation of electrical systems
  • Knowledge of relevant technical standards (e.g., DIN, VDE, VDI) and legal foundations
  • Knowledge of building law and/or explosion protection (advantageous)

Additional

  • Valid Class B driver's license. Willingness to undergo continuous further training. Potential comprehensive training to become a building code recognized expert assessor (Prüfsachverständiger) or ZÜS Ex-Expert.
