Job Summary

This crucial role involves steering the design transfer process as the technical project lead, ensuring timelines and milestones are met for the successful transition of product designs into series production. The Process Engineer will be responsible for introducing and enhancing new manufacturing technologies and processes within a regulated environment, including process validations, documentation, and risk assessment. Working for a leading healthcare company focused on affordable wound care, the position requires collaborating closely with internal and external development and production partners. Key requirements include at least three years of experience leading international and interdisciplinary projects, expertise in process design and optimization, and a technical background in engineering or medical technology. A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is mandatory, and familiarity with 'roll-to-roll' processes and medical device regulations (MDR, ISO 13485) is highly desirable. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field such as Engineering Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Technology, Production Technologies, or Manufacturing Technology; or a relevant vocational qualification in a medical technology environment. Mandatory: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

Experience

  • Experience in developing and optimizing processes, especially in process design and integrating reliable manufacturing processes
  • At least three years of relevant professional experience in leading international and interdisciplinary project teams
  • Experience with 'roll-to-roll' processes (Desirable)
  • Experience in stakeholder management and implementation strength
