Job Summary

This role is ideal for a skilled Service Technician seeking a challenging and secure career path within the renewable energy sector, specializing in wind turbine maintenance. The core responsibilities involve the safe and precise dismantling and assembly of large components such as generators, gearboxes, rotor blades, and main bearings. Day-to-day tasks include preparing the wind turbine, securing the work area, handling heavy components in coordination with crane operators, and performing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical connections according to manufacturer specifications. Candidates must possess a completed technical/craft apprenticeship and at least one year of practical experience in wind energy, specifically major component exchange is preferred. A crucial requirement is the physical and mental suitability for working at great heights, requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) against falls, and a willingness to travel nationwide for assignments, sometimes lasting several weeks.
