Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious Functional Safety Engineer to drive technology forward by focusing on safety-critical electronics development within the automotive industry. The core responsibilities include developing and implementing systems compliant with rigorous standards like ISO 26262 and ASPICE. Day-to-day tasks involve deriving, specifying, and validating technical safety requirements, designing robust safety concepts, and conducting essential risk analyses, audits, and assessments (FMEA, HARA). The engineer will be a key collaborator within interdisciplinary teams spanning hardware, software, and system architecture, working on complex development projects for leading automotive OEMs and suppliers. Candidates must possess a degree in a relevant engineering field and demonstrate professional experience in Functional Safety Management and Quality Assurance, coupled with fluent German and English skills.
