Job Summary

This role involves specialized planning and design for overhead line systems within the railway infrastructure sector in Leipzig. The Overhead Line Planner will primarily focus on executing and coordinating planning activities across service phases 3 and 5, which includes determining mast locations, designing catenary systems, and performing static calculations for foundations and masts. Day-to-day tasks involve developing solutions for track equipment in stations and open tracks, engaging closely with project stakeholders, and conducting site inspections. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, coupled with several years of professional experience in overhead line planning. The ideal candidate possesses knowledge of German railway regulations (Deutsche Bahn standards) and proficiency in AutoCAD, with bonus knowledge of specialized tools like OLDesigner.
