Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Hardware Designer specializing in Electrical Engineering for advanced pharmaceutical automation systems. The core responsibility involves hardware engineering of switchgear, utilizing CAD/CAE tools, preferably EPLAN P8, to plan systems based on established standards. A critical component of the job is integrating PLC controls into high-availability pharmaceutical freeze dryers and automated loading systems. You will provide end-to-end support, accompanying your designs through initial switch-on and final commissioning at the customer site. Success requires close collaboration with software development and production teams to ensure seamless, practical automation solutions. Candidates must possess relevant electrical training and demonstrable practical experience, coupled with strong proficiency in German and sufficient English for handling technical documentation.
