Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the continuous operation and optimization of production systems within the food processing sector through expert electrical and control technology maintenance. The specialist will be responsible for programming, maintaining, and expanding programmable logic controllers (PLCs) from various manufacturers, while implementing modernization measures to sustainably improve plant performance. Key tasks include developing technical solutions to increase system availability and process safety, actively participating in technical projects like conversions and new installations, and coordinating external contractors for maintenance and project work. The ideal candidate holds a degree in electronics or automation technology, possesses deep knowledge of Siemens control systems (Step7, TIA Portal, WinCC flexible), and has experience with fieldbus systems (Profibus, Profinet).
