Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Mechanical or Electrical Engineer specializing in Work Planning and Production Planning for an industrial client in Krefeld. The core focus involves creating detailed production schedules for pre-fabrication, partial manufacturing, and electrical assembly. Responsibilities include carefully managing manufacturing capacities, order backlogs, inventory levels, and procurement situations to ensure timely delivery. The engineer will actively steer manufacturing orders, develop specialized production programs, and continuously monitor productivity and utilization. A key part of the role involves designing optimal workflows and conducting systematic work process and time studies to drive efficiency. The ideal candidate holds a relevant engineering degree, possesses professional experience in production planning, and has strong command of MS Office and basic SAP knowledge. This position offers a 35-hour work week with flexibility for 2 days of home office after training, but requires significant project and construction site related travel (approx. 50%).
