Job Summary

This role is critical for managing the intake and registration of food, feed, water, and consumer goods samples within a laboratory setting. The specialist will be responsible for the professional acceptance and electronic registration of samples using the company's Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Daily tasks include accurately processing and adjusting analysis orders, managing administrative duties such as maintaining the general email inbox, and ensuring thorough documentation for quality management purposes. A key function involves organizing the internal sample flow and communicating effectively across all departments to optimize workflow efficiency while strictly adhering to quality and safety standards. Candidates should possess a background as a Chemical or Biological Technical Assistant (CTA/BTA) or comparable qualification, though motivated career changers (e.g., cooks or kitchen assistants) with strong PC skills and a commitment to quality are also encouraged to apply. This position, initially a two-year fixed-term contract, offers a long-term perspective and opportunities for development.

Required Skills

Education

Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA) or Biological Technical Assistant (BTA) certification/training, or comparable qualification. Non-specialist training or career change is also possible.
