This Senior Data Scientist role at SSI Schäfer Automation GmbH focuses on driving innovative, complex Data Science projects within the international intralogistics sector. The core responsibilities include developing sophisticated algorithms and AI/ML models, specifically leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), and ensuring project concepts align with defined business objectives. Key requirements include a completed degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Math, Statistics) and at least five years of experience in Data Science, coupled with expert knowledge in NLP, LLMs, and Agentic AI. Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and related libraries (Pandas, NumPy) is essential, along with foundational knowledge of MLOps, deployment tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and Cloud platforms such as Azure.
