Job Summary

This role is for an EMC Test Engineer to join an accredited laboratory specializing in calibration, environmental simulation, and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) services in Wedel. The primary responsibilities include performing EMC testing according to international standards and guidelines, both within the laboratory and potentially on-site worldwide. A key function involves consulting customers on interference mitigation and hardening the EMC characteristics of their devices and systems. The engineer will also be tasked with solving new measurement problems, enhancing existing measurement procedures for greater accuracy and automation, and conducting electrical safety tests. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field, possesses excellent manual skills, and demonstrates strong teamwork and independent work ethics. Fluency in both German and English is required to effectively communicate technical findings and prepare detailed test reports.
