Job Summary
This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the safety and sustainability standards of the Bavarian Red Cross Blood Donation Service. The Specialist will primarily focus on managing and evolving the ISO 50001 Energy Management System, including identifying efficiency measures, monitoring energy consumption, and coordinating internal and external energy audits. Responsibilities extend to waste management, hazardous materials administration, and the preparation of the internal CO2 balance according to the GHG Protocol. A key aspect involves supporting the development of a broader Sustainability Management System and procuring electricity and heat for locations across Bavaria. Candidates should possess a degree or relevant qualification in Energy, Environment, Safety, or Sustainability, coupled with experience in managing standards like ISO 50001 and strong data analysis skills. Success requires proficiency in MS Office and databases, and a structured, reliable approach. Experience
- Experience with establishing and maintaining management systems (e.g., ISO 50001, 14001, DIN EN 16247, EMAS)
- Professional experience in handling databases and/or energy monitoring systems

- Willingness to obtain certification as Energy Management Officer, Internal Auditor, or Waste Management Officer (according to KrWG); Valid Class B driver's license; Willingness to travel occasionally within Bavaria
