Job Summary

This role is for an experienced EMC Test Engineer specializing in electrical engineering, satellite, and aerospace technology, located in Backnang. The primary responsibilities involve preparing and independently conducting Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) tests on space equipment, adhering to standards like MIL-STD 461 and ECSS. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing test results, compiling comprehensive test reports, identifying EMC issues, and developing solutions for improvement in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The engineer will also be responsible for setting up and preparing the measurement environment, continuously monitoring the state of measurement technology, and evolving testing facilities and concepts. This position requires a technical degree, several years of professional experience in testing or system engineering, preferably within the aerospace or automotive sectors, and strong analytical skills to ensure the reliability and compliance of critical space hardware.
