Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer or physicist specializing in the development and integration of advanced laser systems and sources. The System Engineer will be responsible for the full lifecycle development of multifunctional laser systems, including coordinating design, testing, and verification activities in a laboratory setting. A core function involves acting as the primary technical interface across various disciplines—Mechanics, Optics, Electronics, and Software—as well as managing external development partners. The position requires proactive technology scouting and evaluation based on product applications, alongside analyzing and optimizing requirements and verification processes for laser sensors. Candidates must possess a strong background in laser technologies, including solid-state, fiber, and diode lasers, coupled with fluent German and very good English skills, ensuring effective collaboration within a global engineering environment.
