Job Summary

This role offers a skilled Financial Accountant the opportunity to join a reputable metrology company in Ulm on a fixed-term contract. The daily responsibilities include the comprehensive processing of financial transactions, such as checking, coding, and posting all incoming operations. A key focus is on month-end and quarterly closing activities, including account reconciliation, general ledger maintenance, and preparing VAT pre-registrations and statistical reports. The accountant will also be involved in management reporting and preparatory work for the annual financial statements. Candidates must possess a commercial qualification, ideally with further training as a Tax Specialist or Certified Accountant, coupled with several years of relevant experience in financial accounting and controlling.
