Postdoctoral Researcher: Seagrass-Pathogen Interactions and Global Change | Postdoktorand:in (m/w/d) Seegras-Pathogen-Interaktionen und Globaler Wandel
Helmholtz-Zentrum für Ozeanforschung Kiel (GEOMAR)
Job Summary
This Postdoctoral Researcher position at the GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel focuses on studying the complex interactions between seagrass, pathogens, and the effects of global change. The role involves conducting advanced marine ecological research within the Marine Evolutionary Ecology Research Unit, contributing significantly to the understanding of ocean function preservation and protection for future generations. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in marine ecology, evolutionary ecology, and potentially pathogen dynamics to investigate how environmental shifts impact these critical coastal ecosystems. This is a crucial, time-limited opportunity to contribute to internationally leading marine research, working within a publicly funded foundation dedicated to knowledge and technology transfer.
