Job Summary

This challenging role involves actively shaping the energy transition by advising clients, project developers, and installers on the planning and implementation of PV, combined heat and power (CHP), and wind power plants. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and evaluating connection requests based on relevant technical standards (VDE-AR-N 4105/4110) and regulatory requirements (EEG/EnWG), creating customized technical connection conditions, and managing projects from initial inquiry to commissioning. The engineer coordinates interfaces across network operations, planning, metering, and IT, and adapts technical specifications based on regulatory changes. A key part of the job is contributing to the digitalization and standardization of connection processes, utilizing digital tools, and working on future topics like flexibility management and storage integration. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering, possesses strong analytical skills, and is passionate about digital transformation and renewable energy technology.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology/Supply, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning and evaluating feed-in systems
  • Experience with relevant norms, guidelines, and legal requirements (VDE-AR-N 4105/4110, EEG, EnWG, §14a)
  • Experience in handling digital tools and data
