Job Summary

This role involves executing, analyzing, and documenting materials tests, specifically focusing on static and dynamic strength testing of samples and components at various temperatures (room and elevated). Key responsibilities include preparing and conducting a range of material testing procedures such as tensile, creep, fatigue, impact, hardness, and conductivity tests, alongside residual stress measurements. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical assessment of test results, creating comprehensive documentation, planning and setting up test rigs, and ensuring the regular calibration and maintenance of testing equipment. The ideal candidate holds a completed qualification as a Materials Tester, possesses initial professional experience with metallic materials, and demonstrates technical understanding and precision in their work.
