Job Summary

Join a leading IT forensics team in NRW, Germany, focused on combating crime through advanced digital analysis. In this role, you will be instrumental in the IT forensic processing and investigation of data, optimizing existing processes, and integrating new forensic systems. You'll contribute to the planning and operation of a state-of-the-art IT platform, providing crucial support and consultation to investigators. This position requires strong technical skills in IT forensics, operating systems, and file systems, coupled with experience in software development or scripting. Ideal candidates will possess a relevant professional degree or a Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience. Required Skills

Education

Relevant professional degree (e.g., IT Specialist with focus on application development or Information Electronics) OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical/natural science field.

Experience

  • At least three years of proven professional experience in a relevant field (e.g., IT specialist with focus on application development or information electronics)
  • Professional experience as a government employee of the NRW Police with relevant experience or qualifications in IT forensics or IT investigation support (minimum three years practical experience)
