Job Summary
This leadership position involves heading Division 1.2 (IT and Digitalization) for the Kaiserslautern District Administration, focusing on driving significant digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing a transparent, service-oriented eGovernment strategy, managing personnel within the IT department, and leading the implementation of the "Digital Administration" project in compliance with the Online Access Act. Day-to-day duties include conducting requirement and interface analyses, creating concepts, and modeling processes to technically optimize administrative workflows. Key qualifications include either a completed technical degree or technical training (such as an IT specialist), or a qualification as an Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt). Candidates must demonstrate very good IT knowledge, strong leadership competence, resilience, and proven experience in administration and project management. The role also includes acting as the Information Security Officer, excluding direct IT security responsibilities.

Completed technical degree, or completed technical training (e.g., IT Specialist), or completed administrative training at the qualification level of an Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt).
