Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive management, maintenance, and strategic development of critical clinical IT applications within a large healthcare and social services provider. The specialist will be responsible for the full lifecycle of systems like Polavis, Mediconnect, PDMS Philips, and Recare, including requirements gathering, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support. A major focus will be actively participating in the introduction and subsequent support of a successor Hospital Information System (HIS) and related subsystems. Key qualifications include a degree in Informatics or a related field, extensive professional experience with complex hospital business processes, and knowledge of healthcare information exchange standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
