Job Summary
This Service Engineer role is vital for ensuring the reliable and smooth operation of IT systems within one of Europe's largest air rescue organizations. The professional will act as the central point of contact, providing 1st and 2nd-Level support for hardware, software, networking, and user rights issues, escalating to 3rd-Level or external providers when necessary. Key responsibilities include proactive system monitoring, maintenance, and comprehensive IT Asset Management, covering the entire lifecycle of hardware. The ideal candidate must have a background as an IT Specialist or similar, possess multi-year experience in IT Support/Service Desk, and demonstrate strong knowledge in IT administration, system integration, and the Azure platform. This position requires excellent German and good English skills, along with expertise in ITIL principles (Incident, Problem, and Change Management), ensuring high availability, security, and quality standards for mission-critical applications.

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist or similar qualification in the IT field
Experience
