Job Summary
This role as an IT Systems Specialist in Vienna focuses on ensuring the robust and secure operation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for the Labor Inspectorate. The core responsibilities involve the conception, implementation, and monitoring of critical ICT security systems, alongside the essential operation and maintenance of servers, clients, firewalls, and network infrastructure. A significant part of the role includes managing user support and contributing to internal data collection and statistical analysis. Candidates must possess deep technical knowledge in Windows Server, Active Directory, and comprehensive network technology (Routing, Firewalls, VPN). Crucial experience is required in designing and operating Backup, Restore, and Disaster Recovery solutions, ideally utilizing NetApp technologies. Success in this position demands strong independent work ethic, structured thinking, high social competence, and a commitment to maintaining stringent security standards, including adherence to NIS2 guidelines.
Required Skills
Education
Relevant University or Technical College Degree (Master or Bachelor) OR HTL/Matura OR other proven qualifications meeting the training requirements of the workplace.
Experience
- 3 years of professional experience if holding a Master's or Bachelor's degree.
- 5 years of professional experience if holding an HTL/Matura qualification.
- Experience in the conception, implementation, testing, and monitoring of Backup, Restore, and Disaster Recovery solutions.
- Professional experience with NDR & EDR systems.
- Experience in the conception and operation of server and network environments, including access and authorization concepts.
