Job Summary
The Saxon State Theatres in Dresden are seeking a skilled IT Systems and Communications Technician to join the State Theater facility management team. This permanent, full-time role focuses on the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and support of complex information and communication technology (ICT) systems within the renowned cultural institution. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up and configuring IT systems, networks, and end devices; conducting fault diagnosis and troubleshooting; and providing essential support to end-users. You will also assist in managing house, security, and event technology systems in collaboration with other teams, requiring flexibility and a service-oriented approach. Candidates must possess a relevant technical vocational qualification (e.g., IT Systems Electronics) and strong foundational knowledge of network and communication technologies. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Information and Communication Technician, Communication Electronics Technician, Automation Electronics Technician, IT Systems Electronics Technician, or Electrician for Energy and Building Technology, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Completed vocational training in Information and Communication Technology, IT Systems Electronics, or related technical field
- Professional experience in IT, network, and communication technology
- Knowledge of telephone and fire alarm systems (desirable)
