Job Summary

This role involves hands-on technical work specializing in video surveillance systems (VSS) for an established expert in security and fire protection technology in Oldenburg. The Security Technician will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of VSS installations, including mounting cameras, recording devices, and network components, ensuring proper cabling, and integrating them into existing security infrastructure. A key part of the role is the commissioning and configuration of these systems, conducting thorough testing, and linking them to central control centers. Furthermore, the technician provides essential maintenance and support, performing regular servicing, remote or on-site fault diagnosis, repair, and replacement of defective components. Ideal candidates must have completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering or IT System Technology and possess experience working with VSS and network technology, complemented by basic knowledge of IT systems and camera software. Fluency in written and spoken German is required for effective communication and documentation.
