Job Summary
This role involves supporting the City of Frankfurt's Department of Statistics and Urban Observation by managing and developing critical data infrastructure used for urban planning and information dissemination. The specialist will be responsible for conducting complex statistical spatial analyses, maintaining and advancing Geodata Management systems and Geodatabases, and creating specialized technical documentation. A key focus area will be expanding the 'Environment and Supply' theme, covering everything from data acquisition to public release. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Geoinformatics, Cartography, or Geography, coupled with strong technical skills in GIS tools (specifically QGIS), and database management. The position requires independent, conceptual work, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills, offering an opportunity to contribute directly to the future development of a major European city.

Completed relevant university degree (Bachelor) in Geoinformatics, Cartography, Geography, or comparable field
Experience
- Professional experience in Geodata Management (required if educational qualification is a relevant vocational training)
