Job Summary

This role involves managing the complete installation of large-scale energy storage systems for commercial, industrial, and grid infrastructure clients, actively contributing to the energy transition. The Construction Manager will oversee all aspects of the construction site, from setup to final completion, ensuring high quality standards are met. Key responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, managing site safety by enforcing accident prevention regulations, and creating necessary HSE documentation and risk assessments. You will also collaborate closely with commissioning and project management teams for system acceptance and handover, and provide technical support for maintenance work. The ideal candidate holds a background in electrical engineering (Electrician/Mechatronics/Technician/Master/Degree), possesses significant experience in construction site management, particularly in plant construction, and has expertise in medium-voltage systems. Strong German and good English skills, coupled with extensive travel readiness (4-5 days/week) within the DACH region, are essential for success in this demanding but rewarding position.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electrician, Electronics Technician, or Mechatronics Technician, or further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister), Technician, or a degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience as an Electrician, Electronics Technician, or Mechatronics Technician
  • Professional experience in construction site management, ideally focusing on plant construction
  • Practical experience with medium-voltage systems, preferably as an authorized person for medium-voltage switching
