Job Summary

This role involves acting as a Systems Engineer within the design department, focusing on defining and integrating mission systems for naval vessels. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing construction specifications for Combat Management Systems (CMS), coordinating functional interfaces between the CMS and external systems, and managing subcontractor services to ensure smooth operations. The engineer will also maintain all CMS data and documentation within ERP and CAD systems, create timely test documentation, and provide technical support to project managers regarding communication systems when interacting with clients, classification societies, or authorities. A crucial part of the job involves participating in and leading various test phases (FAT, HAT, SAT) for the CMS. The ideal candidate holds a degree in System Engineering, Naval Technology, Communication Technology, or Electrical Engineering, possesses experience in complex system integration, preferably in maritime or defense environments, and must be willing to undergo a security clearance.
