Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced Electronics Technician, Electrician, or Fitter who thrives on hands-on work in outdoor environments. You will be crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of public transport in Leipzig by ensuring all electrical systems along the track, particularly overhead contact lines, switch controls, switch drives, and signaling systems, remain operational. Day-to-day tasks include performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical infrastructure, executing switching operations based on orders, and independently manufacturing and checking components like tensioning devices. Key requirements include a completed vocational training in an electrical field, a Class B driver's license, and a willingness to work in a shift system and collaborate actively within a team. This position offers a permanent contract with the potential for direct takeover by the client company.
