Job Summary

This role involves leading the IT department for a major humanitarian organization in the Kassel region, overseeing a team of three while actively participating in daily operations. The Head of IT is responsible for the continuous modernization and digital transformation of the system landscape, ensuring a highly available, secure, and high-performing IT infrastructure (servers, networks, clients). Key responsibilities include managing First- and Second-Level Support, standardizing IT processes for efficiency, and acting as the primary technical contact for specialized departments. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, combined with several years of profound experience in IT administration and security, alongside strong communication and leadership skills.
