Job Summary

This role as a High Voltage Testing Specialist at PFISTERER, a key player in the global energy transition, involves the crucial task of setting up and supervising high-voltage cable system test configurations in both internal and external laboratories. Day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring the technical function and operational safety of these setups, creating detailed test documentation, and constructing prototypes related to new product development. The specialist will work closely with test engineers on project execution and contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of the testing infrastructure. The ideal candidate must possess a completed electrical engineering vocational training and relevant professional experience in energy or electrical engineering, particularly with medium and high-voltage cable accessories. Strong technical understanding, planning skills, high engagement, and excellent German and good English language skills are essential, alongside a willingness to travel nationally and internationally. This is an exciting, full-time, unlimited position supporting the expansion of electricity grids and renewable energy.
