Job Summary

This role places you as the central Subject Matter Expert (Key-User) within the Campus Management department at Witten/Herdecke University, Germany's first private university. You will be responsible for the optimal operation and utilization of the university's information system, CAMPUSonline, which manages the entire Student-Life-Cycle, from admissions and student administration to examination and course management. Day-to-day tasks involve deep process analysis, optimization, and documentation across administrative workflows. A critical component of the job is the parametrization and configuration of the Campus Management software, along with planning and executing related projects. You will also serve as the primary support contact, resolving user issues, documenting tests, and providing essential training to faculty and staff. This full-time, permanent position requires strong analytical skills, IT affinity, and a process-oriented mindset, offering a unique opportunity to drive the digitalization of core academic processes in a dynamic higher education environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Informatics, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field, or comparable professional qualification.

Experience

  • Knowledge and experience in Campus and Information Management at universities (advantageous)
  • Experience in Project Management (advantageous)
  • Experience in the higher education environment (desirable)
  • Professional experience as a Key-User for system configuration
