Job Summary
This role involves acting as a Test Engineer, primarily focusing on ensuring shock safety through experimental verification. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating test specifications and documentation, managing documents, and leading the release process. The engineer will serve as a key technical interface, coordinating and clarifying requirements with internal departments (construction/manufacturing), national and international suppliers, testing authorities (like BAAINBw test centers), and customer representatives. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Process Engineering, or Physics, and possesses strong organizational, process-oriented thinking, and excellent communication skills in both German and English. This position is attractive due to the high level of coordination required across multiple stakeholders and the critical nature of verifying device shock safety, often involving external testing facilities.
