Job Summary

This role seeks an R&D Hardware Developer specializing in Electronic Design to join an internationally active technology group in Berlin. The core responsibilities involve the design, component selection, and dimensioning of complex embedded systems, requiring the creation of standard and EMC-compliant schematics in close collaboration with layout design, construction, and software development teams. Day-to-day tasks include performing and documenting extensive testing (commissioning, functional, integration, and EMC), generating comprehensive development documentation, and supporting the product through manufacturing introduction and type testing. Candidates must hold a university degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics and possess several years of professional experience in circuit development and PCB design. Expertise in CAD software like Mentor DxDesigner and simulation tools, coupled with profound knowledge of EMC-compliant industrial design and measurement technology, is essential. The position offers a long-term assignment with competitive, above-tariff compensation and the potential for permanent takeover by the client.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable field of study

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in hardware/electronics circuit development and PCB design
  • Extensive knowledge in EMC-compliant design within an industrial environment
  • Experience in measurement technology
  • Experience as a project team member or sub-project manager in various development and Total Cost projects (Design to Cost, Design to Value)
  • Experience collaborating with international development teams
  • Experience in programming hardware drivers (advantageous)
