Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity for a motivated professional to establish and shape a brand-new internal Purchasing Department within a highly innovative, medium-sized German company specializing in control cabinet construction, measurement and control technology (MSR), and load management. The Technical Buyer will be instrumental in the active procurement of components, materials, and operating resources, ensuring material availability for ongoing projects. Key responsibilities include obtaining, comparing, and evaluating offers, selecting and managing suppliers, and leading price and condition negotiations. The role requires close collaboration with project managers for project-related purchasing. Candidates must possess a commercial or technical background, ideally with experience in technical purchasing, strong technical understanding (preferably in electrical engineering), and proven negotiation skills.
