Job Summary
This role involves serving as a Technical Employee/Instructor within the vocational training facility of the Bochum-Langendreer correctional institution, focusing on training adult inmates in open custody in North Rhine-Westphalia. The core responsibility is conducting comprehensive vocational training for Electricians for Industrial Engineering and Industrial Electricians specializing in Operational Technology. Day-to-day tasks include delivering theoretical and practical instruction according to curriculum frameworks, developing training materials, coordinating daily learning activities, conducting performance assessments, and providing individual learning support (e.g., remedial lessons, learning plans). The ideal candidate must hold a Master Craftsman or Technician qualification with an Instructor Aptitude Examination (Ausbildereignungsprüfung) in the relevant electrical field, possess strong IT skills (MS Office), and be willing to transition into a civil servant position (Werkdienst/Workshop Service) within three years, which requires participation in mandatory training and adherence to specific age limits.
