Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Chemical Packaging Engineer to drive global packaging standardization and quality assurance within the supply chain, specifically focusing on the Pharma/MedTech sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include the selection, qualification, and auditing of packaging suppliers, leading global projects to standardize specifications and processes, and defining critical technical requirements. A key focus is quality assurance, involving risk assessment along the supply chain and providing technical support to manufacturing plants regarding quality deviations. The Engineer is also responsible for building and developing the global Supplier Management Program. Candidates must possess a degree in Packaging Engineering or Material Sciences and at least three years of experience in packaging material development or QA, coupled with deep knowledge of various packaging technologies (glass, plastics, foils).
