Job Summary

The GMC-I Service GmbH Nürnberg, a global service provider specializing in high-quality electrical measurement and testing technology and part of the GMC INSTRUMENTS Group, is seeking a Calibration Technician. This role involves the crucial tasks of calibrating and adjusting measuring and testing equipment both in the lab and potentially on customer sites. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing metrological testing, quality assurance checks, and creating and maintaining calibration certificates and technical documentation. A key focus is supporting the optimization of calibration processes while strictly adhering to quality and safety standards, particularly ISO 17025. Candidates should ideally possess a technical background in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or electronics, coupled with knowledge of electrical measurement and testing technology. Experience in fault analysis, repairs using technical drawings, and soldering (SMD/THT) is highly desirable, offering a varied and engaging role within a supportive, stable company environment.
