Job Summary

The German Pension Insurance Federation (Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund), a cornerstone of Germany's social security system, is seeking a dedicated Windows Server Administrator for its Server Management division. This role is crucial for maintaining a highly complex and diverse IT system landscape, focusing on server-related services within the Joint Data Center. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating and executing tasks centered on Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, Terminal Server technology (Remote Desktop Session Host, RDS Deployment), WSUS, and KMS. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in IT or possess comparable multi-year professional experience, coupled with several years of relevant experience in IT transition and administration, specifically in the core technologies mentioned. The position, based in Berlin or Würzburg, offers a challenging environment involving system analysis, concept development, high-level troubleshooting, and implementing IT security measures, requiring strong German language skills and the willingness to participate in on-call duty.
