Job Summary

This critical role involves leading the technical success of complex submarine simulation projects for national and international naval clients, focusing specifically on the Domain Sea. The Technical Project Manager is responsible for transforming customer requirements into tailored technical solutions, managing the entire project lifecycle from initial proposal and system development through to final commissioning and customer acceptance. Key tasks include technical management during proposal processing, performing system integration and testing, conducting detailed requirements analysis, and negotiating technical content with partners and suppliers. You will define, plan, and monitor work packages while preparing technical decision documents, such as make-or-buy analyses. This position is ideal for professionals with a background in Systems Engineering and technical project leadership who are enthusiastic about modern naval technologies and are willing to learn about submarine operations and anti-submarine warfare procedures. The role offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to work on challenging, interdisciplinary, and international projects from the Bremen location.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable field.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in Systems Engineering
  • Initial professional experience in technical project leadership
  • Professional knowledge of procedures in the Operations Center for Submarines and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) units, or the desire to learn the subject
