Job Summary

This role involves supporting the official personnel dosimetry department by performing technical tasks related to radiation protection and measurement. The Radiation Protection Laboratory Technician will be responsible for the technical execution of official personnel dosimetry, including whole-body and partial-body dosimetry. Key tasks involve operating automated systems such as evaluation devices, de-blistering and blistering equipment, and shipping systems, alongside independently resolving minor malfunctions. Additionally, the role includes general radiation protection measurements, processing mail, and digital document management. Candidates must possess a completed technical or skilled trade apprenticeship, such as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, Physics Laboratory Technician, Industrial Mechanic, Automation Technician, or Mechatronics Technician. This position offers a secure, initially fixed-term contract with the possibility of permanent employment, flexible working hours, and opportunities for mobile work within a public sector organization.
